How It Works

The workflow begins when a new user subscribes to a specified form or list in ConvertKit. It immediately checks the subscriber's email address, filtering out common personal domains to ensure focus on business contacts. For qualified business emails, Clearbit is used to enrich both the individual's professional details and their associated company's profile. Next, the workflow searches HubSpot for an existing company record using the enriched domain. If the company is new to HubSpot, a new company and contact record are created with the enriched data. If the company already exists, its details are updated, and the contact is associated with the existing company. Simultaneously, a lead record for the enriched individual is upserted in HubSpot, providing sales teams with a ready-to-act profile.
