How It Works
- Get Subscribers from Excel: A daily scheduled trigger initiates the workflow by retrieving subscriber details (name, email, and preferred categories) from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
- Fetch Latest Templates from n8n: The workflow identifies all unique categories among the subscribers and makes optimized API calls to n8n.io to fetch the 10 latest templates for each of these categories.
- Generate AI Summary for Each Template: Each fetched template's description is sent to an OpenAI model (via the LangChain node) to create a concise, easy-to-digest summary suitable for email format.
- Filter Relevant Templates for Subscriber: For each individual subscriber, the workflow filters the summarized templates, keeping only those matching their specified categories and ensuring no duplicate or previously sent templates are included.
- Generate Daily Digest and Send Via Outlook: Finally, a dynamic HTML email is constructed for each subscriber with their personalized selection of new templates and sent using Microsoft Outlook.
