How It Works
The workflow is triggered every 5 minutes, checking Zendesk for any tickets that have been updated since its last run. For each updated ticket, it first retrieves the requester's details. It then checks if a corresponding ticket already exists in HubSpot using an external_id field in Zendesk. If the ticket exists, it updates the relevant HubSpot ticket with the latest information. If it's a new ticket, the workflow ensures the requester exists as a contact in HubSpot (creating or updating the contact as needed), creates a new ticket in HubSpot, associates it with the contact, and then writes the new HubSpot ticket and contact IDs back into the Zendesk ticket and user profile respectively. This ensures a comprehensive, real-time data flow between your support and sales platforms.
