Automate Daily Meeting Reminders to Slack
This powerful n8n workflow ensures you and your team never miss a beat by automating the delivery of your daily Google Calendar schedule directly to a Slack channel. Triggering every morning, it smartly filters upcoming events for the current day and compiles them into a clear, actionable summary, complete with meeting names, times, and direct links.
Key Features
- Automated daily summary of Google Calendar events to keep everyone informed.
- Intelligent filtering that presents only today's scheduled meetings, avoiding clutter.
- Delivers meeting names, exact times, and direct calendar links for quick access and joining.
- Customizable timezone settings for accurate event display, no matter your location.
How It Works
This workflow is set to trigger automatically every day at 6 AM. It starts by fetching all events from your configured Google Calendar. Simultaneously, it determines the current date and day. The workflow then filters the retrieved calendar events, retaining only those scheduled for the current day. For each of today's events, it extracts key details such as the event name, precise start time, and its corresponding Google Calendar URL. Finally, these details are compiled into a neatly formatted message and sent to a specified Slack channel, providing a clear and timely overview of your daily agenda without any manual effort.
