How It Works
This workflow automates the entire image background removal process, from detection to final upload, ensuring your Google Drive stays organized with professional assets.
- Trigger: The workflow continuously monitors a specified Google Drive folder for new image uploads.
- Download: Upon detection, the new image is downloaded from Google Drive into n8n.
- Configure & Analyze: Configured settings (background color, padding, API key) are applied. If original size is preferred, the image's dimensions are extracted.
- Background Removal: The image is sent to the Photoroom API, which intelligently removes the background based on your settings (transparent, solid color, fixed size, or original size).
- Upload: The processed image, now with its background removed and ready for use, is uploaded back to a designated output folder within your Google Drive. The filename is appended with "BG-Removed-" for easy identification.
