How It Works
This powerful workflow operates on a set schedule, autonomously performing the following steps to keep your AI research up-to-date and organized: 1. Scheduled Start: The workflow activates automatically every weekday morning at 8 AM. 2. Fetch Latest Papers: It sends a request to Hugging Face Papers to retrieve a list of newly published research papers from the previous day. 3. Extract Paper URLs: From the fetched webpage, it extracts the unique URLs for each individual paper. 4. Duplicate Check: For each extracted paper URL, the workflow queries your designated Notion database to determine if the paper has already been added. This prevents redundant entries. 5. Retrieve Full Abstract: If the paper is new, it then navigates to the individual paper's page on Hugging Face to extract its full title and abstract content. 6. AI-Powered Summarization: The extracted abstract is sent to OpenAI, which processes it to identify and structure key information, including a core introduction, relevant keywords, significant data and results, technical implementation details, and academic classifications. 7. Store in Notion: Finally, all the raw data (URL, title, abstract) along with the AI-generated insights are meticulously recorded as a new page in your Notion database, ready for your review.
